A Biblical Perspective on the Secret and the Law of Attraction

The Law of Attraction is a biblical concept, but has been perverted by worldly teachings; therefore, the church should seek teaching on the biblical Law of Attraction.

Now I'm sure you've heard of the teaching known as "The Secret." The concept is, by using this "secret," which is "The Law of Attraction," you can attract anything you want in your life: more money, a bigger house, more business, the perfect mate, literally anything you want!

While the teachings conveyed about the Law of Attraction from worldly teachers contain many truths, they also contain some contradictory ideas to the Word of God. For example, I personally disagree with the notion that a person can have just anything. The reason being, we were born with different strengths, skills, and talents that lend themselves to our individual abilities to acquire the things we desire.

A Biblical Perspective on the Secret and the Law of Attraction

God made us all unique, with a purpose, and with a certain mission to fulfill His will. It isn't all about us! Now does that mean the Law of Attraction should be ignored? Is it all just a bunch of garbage for the Christian? Absolutely not! The Law of Attraction is a biblical concept.

Once we understand the proper mechanics and the proper use of the law of attraction and discuss it within the church, we should refer to it as the "biblical law of attraction" simply that there may be no misunderstanding. So from here to the end of this article, I'll refer to it as the "Biblical Law of Attraction."

Now, the Biblical Law of Attraction and God's will can, and should work together in your life. Let me clarify it from a biblical perspective in the following three points:

1. The Worldly Law of Attraction and the Believer in Christ

The worldly teaching of the Law of Attraction has brought much confusion to the believer in Christ for one very good reason: It leaves out the entire concept of God's will! If you've been trying to use the Biblical Law of Attraction in the way the worldly teachers teach it, you'll soon find yourself feeling far from God!

2. Why the Basic Concept of the Law of Attraction Works for Everyone

Like I said previously, the Law of Attraction is a biblical concept and a Godly principle. It's just that the worldly teaching of it is not Godly. It has distorted biblical references by leaving Jesus out of the equation, thereby perverting the Word of God to suit its own purposes.

3. The Basic Concept of the Law of Attraction and God's Will

Jesus' teaching on the Biblical Law of Attraction deals with our beliefs, thoughts, words and actions. The worldly teachers of the Law of Attraction teach that our words and thoughts are enough, like there's some sort of magic in what we request from, who they call, the "Universe."

Conclusion

God is interested in our "issues," and He wants a relationship with us more than anything else. He wants our heart; therefore it grieves Him when we chase after selfish ambitions instead of Him.

So, how should one use the Biblical Law of Attraction? The answer is, to glorify God in his or her life. Not merely to obtain selfish ambitions.

Desire and Desperation - You need to let go of the desperation

While desire is a sacred energy, an energy of creation, desperation is just the opposite, a destructive energy. When desire is unfulfilled the void is taken over by desperation. While desire is a pure and good energy, desperation is a powerful negative energy. Desire creates those vibes in you to attract, desperation creates just the opposite vibes, to repel. When you fell in love with that special person, the sacred seed of desire was sown in you. Due to whatever reasons when that desire was unfulfilled desperation crept in. So the first step is remove that desperation. Clear all desperation.

How to clear desperation?

The easiest way to clear desperation is to let go. Surrender to the light of divine love of the Universe. Imagine a beautiful light of divine love, a pure radiant love light. Just surrender to that beautiful sparkling light. That light created you, gave you everything that you possess, and that light simply loves you, no matter what you have done so far. That light is forgiving, 100% pure love and powerful enough to create a beautiful reality beyond your wildest imagination. When you fell in love that light was silently telling you what to do, only if you listened. So let go of everything, surrender and start anew. Today submit yourself to that divine light and affirm to yourself you let go, you surrender and you allow that Divine Light to create a bright future, a bright love life for you. You accept the divine will because the divine will make your life far happier than you can imagine.

Once you do this you let go of any attachment to the result. Now the fun part begins.

Creating a beautiful love life

Once you have let go of any attachment to that person, you have given a very powerful and strong signal to the Universe you are now ready for love in your life. If previously your love was one sided now it's time to create a both sided relationship. You are a super hero in your theater of the mind. Your movie is in your mind and your movie creates your reality. You have 100% control over your imagination and use this wisely to create a reality of your choice.

Now now simply imagine your loved one in love with you. "Your loved one loves you", your desire is fulfilled. How does it feel? Say to yourself as an affirmation 1000's of times "_______ loves me" See what happens in the next 5-7 days. See the shift in energy. Notice how you would feel. Visualize your lover is in love with you. Keep a tab on the feelings. How does it feel? Go lucid in your mind as you make love to your lover. How does it feel?

If you do the above stop properly you will realize and laugh at yourself, what was I so desperate for? And once you have done it well, your world opens up. You feel more powerful. If you do this properly you will feel like a winner and your world of choices opens you. You will definitely wonder what the big deal about this person that I was putting so much energy on? Why didn't I just let go before?

Sending Love

While the above techniques were to get you out of your pit of desperate feelings and make you feel like a winner so that positive thoughts and feelings came and made you realize whether you wanted that person because of love or because you wanted to satisfy your ego. In many cases the desperation to get back isn't because of love but because of a sense of conquest. So now you know in your heart whether you truly love the other person or not. If its love go forward else just allow the Universe to deliver the best vibrational match for you.

Now this is a very important step for those in love

Love - the power behind creation

Understand this. Love is THE most powerful energy in the Universe. With love you can create anything, win anyone's heart, mind and soul. Every day for at least 10 minutes sit down and send loving thoughts to your loved one. Imagine you already have a relationship with her. Your lover loves you completely. Now what kind of loving thoughts would you send to your lover.

Imagine a pink ball of energy in between your hands in which you see you already have the relationship of your choice. In this ball you can see you and your lover. This ball can only contain pure and good love energy. Note the words, the thoughts, the kind of relationship you both have in this ball. Now let go of the pink ball. Let it flow away in the Universe.

Let go of any attachment. And if you do it right there will be no attachment now because you are already in a field where you can FEEL the feelings of the relationship and loving your lover. In case there are any doubts Affirm to yourself, "I surrender to my divine light". "I only have love and gratitude for my divine light".

Remember this very clearly Intention Manifestation can ONLY and ONLY happen when the feelings vibrational level is high. Desperation is like a deep well, it has a -ve vibration. Love and Gratitude have the highest vibration.

If you do this right your emotions at this point of time should be:
1. zero desperation. You will wonder where it has disappeared?
2. extremely happy because you have created a beautiful relationship and seen and felt it so vividly
3. a perfect happy relationship between you and the Universe where you only and only have Thank You's for the Universe.

Your perfect relationship will manifest in all certainty. 60,000 thoughts a day is your thought karma. If Love and Gratitude is even in 80% of this thought karma you cannot imagine what a beautiful relationship you will create, far beyond your imagination.

Is the root of our attraction in Evolutionary Theory?

The root of male female attraction: is this the greatest mystery of all? People have been wondering for generations just what is the source of the thing that makes someone attracted to someone else? And while we are asking this question, how about finding out how do I make it work for me?

This question has been the basis of academic study from Ivy League school academics to pop culture gurus and falls under the sub heading of behavioural studies. There are many theories. In the words of one well known dating expert: "attraction is not a choice".

Male Female Attraction - Evolutionary Theory

He may not be wrong. It seems as if, some scientists and academics would agree.

Evolutionary Theory of human attraction provides that interpersonal attraction occurs when someone has physical features indicating that he or she is very fertile. It is a simple theory that relies on the premise that the sole purpose of relationships is reproduction. Because of this people invest in partners who appear to be very "reproductive", which would naturally seem to increase the chance of their genes being passed down to the next generation.

An obvious weakness to this theory has been the lack of its ability to explain attraction between same-sex couples or attraction between couples who do not want children.

Other evolutionary theories suggest that reproduction in a partner is of greater importance to men than to women. This theory posits the concept that women place more emphasis on a man's ability to provide. The theory suggests that these resources are the key to a woman successfully raising her children. This ability to provide may also be passed on to male offspring - an underlying genetic characteristic that females value in a mate. What woman would not want her male offspring to be resilient?

Additional aspects of Evolutionary Theory propose that comely physical features are healthy. The theory suggests that a robust mates are more probable to have healthy genetic characteristics. Another reason to desire a mate who can pass these physical attributes on to the young.

However, there are detractors to these theories. The root of their arguments pose that the environment exacts a much stronger influence on male female attraction than does reproductive survival.

Whatever the truth may be, men and women will likely go on asking themselves these questions for a long time. However, if science ever arrives at the definitive answer you can be assured that both sexes will be lining up to use that knowledge to increase their odds of a successful relationship. Attraction may not be a choice, but all is fair in love and war.

3 Advanced Law of Attraction Exercises to Manifest Wealth

No matter how successful we are, we can always use advanced law of attraction exercises to manifest greater prosperity and wealth in our lives. As an attraction coach, I have both taught and used the following exercises with great success. Try them out for yourself, and let your results be your guide.

1. All Possibilities Exist Simultaneously (a Meditation)

This law of attraction exercise requires you to take some time to yourself in quiet meditation. Begin by focusing on the concept that all possibilities exist simultaneously. This means that every possibility for your life already exists; you simply choose which of these possibilities you will experience based on your thoughts and beliefs.

3 Advanced Law of Attraction Exercises to Manifest Wealth

For example, if the idea of being a millionaire is appealing to you, recognize that this reality ALREADY exists. This version of reality is present, just as all other versions of reality are present. If this sounds like an outrageous "new age" claim, you might be surprised to learn that it is actually a recognized and mathematically sound theory of physics, based on the work of quantum physics pioneer Nils Bohr back in the 1920s.

Dr Bohr upset the traditional scientific view of "reality" by expressing mathematically the probability that there are an infinite number of "potential universes," representing an infinite number of possibilities which are all valid and present at the same time. In physics circles, this is known as the Copenhagen School of Quantum Physics, and it is a well-established theory that has yet to be disapproved, despite nearly 100 years of challenges by some of the greatest minds in history--including Albert Einstein.

By meditating on the idea that all possibilities already exist, you can bring your mind into alignment with a particular version of reality that you would like to experience. As you daydream, and visualize yourself experiencing this reality, you come into greater and greater harmony with it. From there, it is simply a matter of using this law of attraction exercise consistently, with a calm and relaxed faith. The results can be quite powerful.

2. The Transmitter Exercise

This law of attraction exercise takes advantage of the human being's ability to control and change the "vibe" they are resonating out into the world. It is an established law of attraction precept that "that which is like unto itself is drawn." In other words, whatever you are "resonating" is what you are attracting.

By taking this concept seriously and literally, you can begin to play a little "mental game," wherein you purposefully attempt to resonate a certain vibe. For example, if you'd like to experience great wealth, you began making a point to transmit the vibration of wealth to the universe. You do this by getting a strong mental image of yourself ALREADY being a wealthy person, and then "see" yourself transmitting this energy or vibration out around you everywhere you go.

Practice transmitting your vibe stronger and further. If you are walking in a crowded shopping center, for example, "see" yourself transmitting your vibe to everyone and everything around you, and with great strength. This law of attraction exercise can be used for manifesting wealth and prosperity, but it is also effective in many other areas. The key is to "see" a visual representation of your waves of energy moving out into the world and affecting all of creation. Try it for yourself and see why the transmitter exercise is so popular.

3. The Gatekeeper Exercise

This is one of my favorite advanced Law of attraction exercises. In a way, is the complete opposite of the transmitter exercise, because it is not concerned with the vibration you are sending out, but instead, focuses entirely on the vibrations you are letting in. Here's how it works.

The idea of the gatekeeper exercise is to take a period of time (an afternoon for example), and become very aware of anything and everything that is "on your radar." As you become aware of things in your environment that are vying for your attention, you will play the part of a gatekeeper (or maybe a "bouncer" at a nightclub) by allowing in ONLY the things that increase your feelings of well-being -- the good vibes.

The gatekeeper exercise is actually about exclusion, which is one of the most important aspects of practicing the law of attraction. By being an effective "bouncer" of your own inner sanctuary, you will learn to remove your focus from things that do not give you positive energy, and ONLY allow things in if they contribute to your positive state of mind.

This is one of the most powerful advanced law of attraction exercises a person can use. It teaches us the value of focusing our attention with laser-like precision on what we want, while allowing what we don't want to fall away. In my experience, there is no better way to begin to attract wealth than by using this exercise.

Nine Secrets of the Body Language of Lovers

He loves me, he loves me not. She loves me, she loves me not. Wouldn't it be nice if you could know for sure? Well, while there's not one single way to tell if you hold his or her interest, or better yet his or her heart, there are many subtle and not so subtle clues offered through a person's body language that speak much louder than words.

So, what should you look for in regard to a person's body language to let you know that love has arrived? If you want to play "love detective," here are your first clues:

Eye Contact

Nine Secrets of the Body Language of Lovers

It's true that when it comes to love the "eyes have it." In a face-to-face encounter, the first indicator of mutual attraction is eye contact. In fact, communication experts agree that if eye contact exceeds 70% during an interaction, the two people talking are probably more interested in each other than in the actual conversation. Similarly, if a person is not interested, a decrease in eye contact will be seen.

Pupils Will Dilate

When looking at an object of interest, our pupils will dilate or become larger. This makes it easier to see the desired object.

Postural Mirroring

Two people who are interested in each other and are getting along, will perform a phenomena called postural mirroring, or postural echoing. Just as it sounds, postural mirroring occurs when a couple assumes the same body position of their beloved. For instance, if one person sits with their legs crossed and their hand to their chin, the other person will also sit with their legs crossed and their hand to their chin. Or, when one person lifts their glass to take a drink, almost as on cue, the other person will do the same.

Gestural Mirroring

Akin to postural echo is gestural echo. Again, when two people are interested in each other, they will often echo each other's gestures. For instance, if one individual uses the "thumbs up" gesture sometime during the evening, it is common for this gesture to be repeated by the other person sometime later in the evening.

Vocal Mirroring

Not only do people who are romantically interested in each other echo each other's posture and gestures, but they will also frequently echo each other's voice. For instance, if at the beginning of a conversation one individual is speaking slow and the other is speaking fast, by the end of the conversation it is common for the couple to both have altered their rate of speech to a comfortable medium. Additionally, if one person speaks in a soft voice, the other will typically speak in a soft voice as well.

Pet Names

A good indicator that a romance is intensifying occurs when a couple begins to call each other by pet names. Common pet names include: "honey," "darling," "sweetie," "sugar," "baby" and yes, even "sweet thang."

Baby Talk

As attraction for each other grows, a couple will often engage in baby talk. Much like one would talk to an infant, baby talk is done with a syrupy sweet voice. "How's my little darlin' doin' today. "Did you miss me?" or "What's my sweet baby doing?"

Touch

How much touch and who initiates touch in a relationship are very important clues as to how the relationship is doing. By reaching out and touching another person we indicate our interest in them. When people are getting along, they spend a lot of time touching each other. Whether sitting next to each other, holding hands, or locked in a warm embrace, you will often find lovers just can't keep their hands off one another.

Feet

One of the clearest indicators of whether or not someone is interested in you is to look at their feet. If a person's feet are pointed in your direction, you can be assured that you are where their interest lies.
